First video look at the overhauled Light Rail vehicles

At first glance, you may not notice what all the fuss is about with our newly refurbished Light Rail vehicles. But as MTA contractor CH2M's John Smolenski explains, the beauty is in the detail. We were there when the first fully wrapped car arrived in January. (All it was missing was a bow.) As each new car arrives at the Cromwell Maintenance Facility, it is thoroughly tested for full service before MTA accepts it for use. New video capabilities, new flooring, a smoother ride and lots more in store when the first of these new cars hits the streets, planned for 2017. #WeAreYourMTA @mdotnews
