I headed to Island Bend Campground for what I thought would be a peaceful winter camping trip, but Mother Nature had other plans. The freezing temperatures made for one of the coldest nights I've ever experienced — but the hot tent and wood stove kept us going. Snow, silence, and solitude. This is winter hot tent camping at its rawest.
