Senzo Meyiwa Murder Trial | 22 January 2024

The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial will resume on Monday in the high court in Pretoria. It was adjourned last year after advocate Thulani Mngomezulu for accused 1 & 2 was unable to proceed due to ill health. Mngomezulu was busy cross-examining witness and lead investigator - Brigadier Bongani Gininda. The legal teams met with presiding Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng - and it emerged afterwards that Mngomezulu was not feeling well. Five men are currently on trial for the soccer star's 2014 murder.
