National Civil Police (PNC) officers reported the arrest of Karina, 40, alias “La Morena,” at a checkpoint at the Canada Model Rehabilitation Farm in Escuintla. According to the report, the woman attempted to smuggle a television into the prison through an unauthorized entrance. Her partner and son are incarcerated there. The television was confiscated, and Karina was turned over to the appropriate court.
