“I Played Drums at a Casino gig… Here’s What Happened”

The day starts early—rolling out of bed, grabbing my gear, and getting ready for a full day on the road. After a quick check to make sure everything’s packed, I head out and meet up with everyone, exchanging the usual “good mornings” before we get moving. We make a quick stop at a store to grab a few last-minute essentials, then it’s time to hit the road. With the car loaded and the playlist going, we settle in for the drive, talking music, gigs, and everything in between. Once we arrive at the hotel, it’s straight into unload mode—hauling gear, checking in, and getting our rooms sorted. After a quick reset, we head over to the venue for soundcheck. Dialing everything in, making sure the kit feels right, and locking in with the band is where it all starts to come together. Before long, it’s game time.
