'Gone too far': Canadians fed up with tipping
A new survey commissioned by H&R Block suggests nearly two-thirds of Canadians want to get rid of tipping culture altogether. CTV's Kimberley Fowler speaks with Charlie Nesrallan of Chuck's Deli & Convenience, Lindzy Thompson of King Eddy, and tax expert Yannick Lemay. Lemay notes that while 89 per cent of people resent tip prompts, more than half of customers still leave a tip anyway due to pressure.
