Our Brake Lights Quit... Again | Perrot State Park, Wisconsin

This week, we're continuing our journey north with a stop at one of western Wisconsin's hidden gems—Perrot State Park. After arriving at the park, we filled our fresh water tank, headed to our campsite, and got settled in. While backing into our site, we realized our trailer brake lights had stopped working... again. Since we didn't have an immediate solution, we decided to table the problem and enjoy the campground. The next day, we tackled the hike to Brady's Bluff, and the views from the top did not disappoint. It ended up being one of our favorite hikes of the trip and a reminder of why we love exploring state parks. The following day, we made a trip to Harbor Freight to pick up what we needed, grabbed dinner in Trempealeau, and started putting together a plan to get us safely back on the road. On travel day, Tony got to work fabricating a mounting solution for our temporary wireless trailer lights. After a lot of trial and error—and a little creative engineering—we finally had everything working well enough to continue our journey.
