GT Cup from Donington Park National circuit, Race 2, 9th April 2022, MakeHappen Racing Mercedes AMG GT4 with Jon Currie driving. The second race of the opening weekend of the 2022 season and Jon's first of the endurance races that mandate a pitstop. Multi-class racing and there were around 30 cars out usually, we had up to about 17 in our class group for qualifying I seem to remember. This is a GT4 Mercedes, you'll see the Gt3's start cutting through to lap them about 20 minutes in as the speed difference is pretty big between the two classes. A few shunts and safety cars slow their progress down. Jon's first full year in GT4 machinery, learning a lot each time out so you'll see his improvements throughout these seasons videos.
