Mick Velovski (98) 100 years of Macedonian identity in Australia
Mick Velovski is the oldest Macedonian activist in Australia. He is 98 years old and lives in Sydney. Mick arrived in Australia in 1931-32. He served the Australian Army in the Second world War in the Airforce. Mick is a founder of the first Macedonian organisation "Edinstvo" in 1937 and "Macedonian Australian Peoples League in 1946. He is the first broadcaster in Macedonian in 1946 and Editor of the Macedonian news paper "Iskra/Spark" 1946.
