Solo with Rolo - we take a walk around Kendal Caravan and Motorhome Club site and look at some of the pitches and the dog walk or walking areas. This is a long one I know, so grab a brew and I hope you make it to the end. The site is spread out over a large area and there are lots of little cul-de-sac's of pitches scattered amongst the trees. Kendal Caravan and Motorhome Club site is set in National Trust woodland, Kendal Club Campsite is on the site of a 19th-century gunpowder mill. Kendal Club Campsite lets you enjoy nature to the full, from the swoop of the fells to the luxurious blue of the lakes. The site is a great base to explore the delights of Cumbria and the Lake District, with Windermere just 13 miles from the site and Keswick a further 20 miles beyond. It also makes an ideal stopover point for onward travel towards Scotland.
