In this video, I take you on a journey through theory and practice of OBD2 electronic diagnostics, applied to a Yamaha Tricity scooter. We cover everything: what OBD is, when it became mandatory on cars and motorcycles, the most common protocols (PWM, KWP, CAN, ISO, etc.), and how often the connector on motorcycles can be proprietary.
