Rewal: Go along the Rose Avenue and admire the view from the terrace [4K] The establishment of a town known as Rewal dates back to the second half of the fourteenth century, when a rival inn was erected on the trail connecting Gdańsk, Kołobrzeg and Kamień Pomorski. The inn called Riuale was located near the current fishing base. Today there is no trace of it, she was demolished when her sea began to threaten. Soon a small fishing settlement was created around the tavern, divided by the Rigose stream, connecting the sea with a swamp lake located between Trzęsacz and Śliwin. The village was divided into two parts: the west located within the lands belonging to Śliwin, the Kamieńska chapter was subordinate, while the eastern part belonged to the von Flemming estates. The divided town was connected on April 1, 1905. The inhabitants of the former Rewal dealt mainly with fishing, the land was the only one to cultivate the local innkeeper. Unusual natural conditions meant that the Rewal in 1827 gained the status of a bathing beach, acting mainly as a tourist town, which primarily accepted tourists from Berlin and the surrounding area. Despite the growing interest of tourists with rest in Rewal, only in the second half of the 1890s, accommodation facilities began to be created. Before the outbreak of World War I, there were over 2,200 vacationers in Rewal. In connection with the rapid development of the village, more institutions such as a school in 1894 and six years later the Zdrojowy Park began to appear in its area. After World War II, the town flourished as a summer resort. Rewal is the capital of one of the most beautiful sections of the Polish coast. The town is known for many interesting facilities such as the observation deck located in its center at the main descent to the beach, the promenade leading to the next observation platform, and numerous monuments and objects testifying to the fishing tradition. Since 1973, this town has been the seat of local government authorities. 00:00 intro 00:30 Rewal #Rewal #lato #mora
