Hello everyone, What are the challenges, pace of education, and living conditions of studying medicine in English in Italy? In this installment of our Pisa Edu Student Experiences series, we travel to Rome and meet with Yunus, a first-year medical student studying in English. In this enjoyable conversation with Yunus, we candidly discuss the intense five-day-a-week medical education, the multinational classroom environment, and the English proficiency of the professors. Although the language of instruction is English, Yunus mentions the requirement to learn Italian at a B2 level for the fourth-year hospital internships, and advises prospective students to start their Italian language studies while still in Turkey.
