Should a woman endure abuse by an unbelieving spouse like a missionary endures persecution? Shockingly, this is the advice offered by Dr. John Street, chair of the graduate program of biblical counseling at John MacArthur’s school — The Master's University and Seminary — and an elder at Grace Community Church. Street also suggests that wife’s failure to “fulfill” her husband can cause the husband to sexually abuse his children! And he says victims should report their abuse to church leaders first, and to police as a last resort.
