1928 vintage film Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii

Original 16mm movie film taken by a New York City family while visiting Hawaii, Honolulu and Oahu in 1928. Scenic views include a biplane greeting while waiting to enter Honolulu Harbor, city views, hula dancing, paniolas, etc. The ship listing at the beginning of the film is curious. (At :55). Does anyone have an explanation for that? Can anyone identify the biplane or pilot? Please submit any information relevant to the film.
