THE CLASSIC ALGONQUIN COCKTAIL and equally classic Algonquin Hotel | Bar Talk & Cocktails
Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, just two blocks from Times Square in New York City, sits an iconic hotel, the Algonquin. Over the years the hotel has welcomed a bevy of famous actors, singers, writers and literary personalities...not to mention a 90 year old bartender and official resident cat! In this episode we learn all about the famous hotel and not just 1 but 2 cocktails that were named after it. One made with Rye and one made with Rum. Both different but equally good. If you end up making both of these, let me know in the comments which one you prefer better. Cheers!
