3 Full Days as a Trade Plate Driver in the UK

It's a bumper edition - let's head off for three full days on the road as a trade plate driver in the UK! We'll travel more than 1,300 miles across Britain collecting three pickup trucks for the dealership. Two Ford Rangers and a Nissan Navara, from Rochdale, Handforth and Whitchurch. Day 1 was a boiling 33 degrees at times. I went through Manchester city centre to Rochdale. The last time I was here, I had to walk away from the vehicle we were buying... thankfully, this one proves to be a much better purchase, and I set off on a long drive home through the summer heat. Day 2 sees me heading back towards Cheshire to collect yet another Ford Ranger! Along the way, I take a look at the unusual railway station signage on display at Handforth, stop at a hidden gem of the M6, just off junction 18 - the Fox and Hounds pub, one of my favourite pubs to stop at when I'm travelling up and down the motorway. I also discuss the importance of taking a break when tired behind the wheel. On Day 3, I travel to Whitchurch in Shropshire to collect a Nissan Navara. Delays and missed connections at Crewe may have slowed the journey down, but they also led to an unexpected encounter with a steam locomotive that was built in Crewe more than 80 years ago! It's an extra-long video with long-distance train travel, motorway miles, pickup trucks, service stations, railway stations, countryside roads, good food, hot weather and the realities of life when trade plate driving in the UK. My name's Chris, and I'm a trade plate driver travelling all across the UK collecting and delivering vehicles.
