Manipur Violence: Mob Attacks Assam Rifles Camp In Senapati | Vehicles Vandalised, Tear Gas Fired

Violence erupted in Manipur’s Senapati town on the intervening night of July 14 and July 15 after a mob attacked an Assam Rifles Company Operating Base. According to officials, the violence broke out hours after a search operation in the area. Around 9:30 pm, the mob allegedly pelted stones, vandalised vehicles and damaged property. As the situation escalated into arson and vandalism, security forces fired blank rounds and used tear gas grenades to disperse the crowd.
