I Thought This Would Work… (UK Sea Fishing After a Storm)

I thought these conditions would be perfect for UK sea fishing… but it didn’t go to plan. After a week of strong winds, I headed to Pevensey Bay to see if the fish had moved back in — testing whether rough seas and a strong tide would actually improve the fishing. --- This session was all about testing a theory. After heavy winds and rough seas along the Sussex coast, I wanted to find out whether the stirred-up seabed and strong tide would push fish closer in and improve the fishing. I fished two rods: One at distance targeting rays using bluey One closer in using a scratching rig with worm There were early bites, a few fish landed, and plenty of signs of life — but also missed opportunities, frustration, and more crack-offs.
