Parliament discusses enlargement process with EU commissioner Marta Kos

Members of the European Parliament will discuss and review the progress of the ten countries that want to join the European Union in their first debate with Marta Kos, the new commissioner for enlargement. The debate, organised by Parliament's foreign affairs committee, will cover Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Türkiye. Each year the Parliament assesses the state of play progress in implementing EU-related reforms, the main challenges and proposals for the way forward in the candidate countries and potential candidates on their European path.
