Battle of Lundy's Lane Pt 2 Steven Tors
IMPORTANT CORRECTION: Embarrassingly, I reversed the histories of Fort Niagara and Fort George in the video. Fort Niagara was the older installation, built originally by the French, then taken by the British, and finally turned over to the United States following the Revolutionary War. Fort George was then built by the British on the other side of the Niagara River in Canada to oppose the Americans at Fort Niagara. My retirement project - part 2 of a documentary and virtual tour of the battle of Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls during the War of 1812. This part covers the preparations of the armies between the Battle of Chippawa on July 5, 1814, and the Battle of Lundy's Lane on July 25, 1814.
