240Vac to 12VDC Fridge conversion
This video looks at the possibility of converting a mains powered fridge to operate directly from a 12 volt power source such as a caravan or off grid house. Not any fridge can is suitable for conversion and in this video I show one that I recently did and what is required of a suitable fridge candidate. The compressor assembly shown in this video is suitable for fridges up to 200 to 300 litres capacity ( that from the manufacturers information ).
