2nd Thermal Flight Aspres, France - 11 Sept 2018 - (HiRes version)

This video documents my second test flight in my newly completed Carbon Dragon in thermic conditions at the Aspres aerodrome in the southern French Alpes. Apart from a mildly exciting tow-up and a nice climb in a thermal from ~1200m to ~2200m (starting at ~30m30s), the rest of the video is mostly just a bit of eye-candy showing off my playground in the sky in the Hautes Alpes de Provence in southern France. As a gliding video, it sucks! I remain local to the air field at all times, as this is a test flight, but I could easily have gone XC if I chose to. It was fun thermalling with Shaun O'Neill, who flew up the valley from Mt. de Chabre, near Laragne on his WillsWing T2C.
