Ginetta GT4 @ Nurburgring Sprint | AC VR

First two races with the LoPeN racing group in Assetto Corsa. Race 1 was messy. I qualified on pole and pulled a big gap, after which there was a "safety car" I didn't observe. I couldn't properly hear the Discord call over the sound of the game. I did barely hear them report my position a few times so I thought they were slowing down just to fuck around with me because I was smoking them at that point lol. Pretty conceited of me tbh. So I ended up catching the back of the pack and doing the rest of the race a lap ahead. Race 2 was more interesting. The fastest driver was untouchable but I had very similar pace to ohyeah, except that my rear wing was set far too high and I had no top speed. You can see at several points in the replay that even with a better drive and full benefit of slipstream, I still couldn't pass people on the straights; while they would pull on me very easily when behind. The car was very stable so there's a good chance lowering the rear wing would have resulted in free lap time. Oh well.
