Woodturning - KELP! A turned, textured and coloured undersea vase

The Kelp Vase was turned from a modest pine spindle. I used my Dremel to carve fronds of seaweed into the exterior against a bubbly backdrop of ocean. The vase was sprayed with an inky coating of ‪@ChestnutProducts‬ ebonising lacquer, and the seaweed was embellished with ‪@TheTinyTurner‬ chameleon pigment in "aether" to give it a colour-shifting blue-green sheen. The interior of the vase was finished with tung oil. Special thanks to ‪@stewartfurini‬ for his time, guidance, and inspiration.
