And then comes vintage hunting at the Samgori flea market (Tbilisi): a minibus to the metro, a sparse atmosphere, haggling, and my haul from the flea market—a rare decanter with floral engraving (≈ early 20th century), a creamer from the 1950s, and seven late-Soviet glasses. Along the way, I stop by an English school near the Samgori metro station, and in the evening, unpacking, cleaning, and a quick inventory of the valuables: checking for chips, transparency, and bubbles.
