👉 Early this morning, a violent security incident shook San Justo, in the La Matanza district. Four criminals broke into a home through a window while the occupants slept, stealing belongings such as money, perfumes, and documents. After a 911 call, a police chase ensued, involving two vehicle changes by the assailants. The pursuit ended when the suspects crashed into another car. Two managed to escape on foot; one was arrested, and another died after an exchange of gunfire with Buenos Aires provincial police officers. Prosecutor Adrián Arribas explained that "so far, I haven't taken any action against the police personnel," clarifying that the investigation is ongoing and that the Federal Police are conducting ballistic tests. The case reignited the debate about recidivism, as it was mentioned that some of those involved in recent incidents had prior records or were under house arrest with electronic ankle monitors.
