This Toyota Celica GTS wasn't always as desirable as it is now, and is a truly unique example of cars that are becoming more collectable. In this video we show just how much can be done using Oberk as a one step polishing process. Typically we suggest our yellow foam pad to be used for this task. Its super easy to use on almost any car. Combine the yellow pad with Oberk Cut for light colored vehicles, and combine the yellow pad with Oberk Polish for dark or black colored vehicles. For this specific circumstance, the microfiber cutting pad did a better job of managing the oxidation and residue, still offering the same level of finish. We really wanted to keep this as a one step process to preserve what little paint was on the vehicle, but aggressive enough to remove the chalky oxidation hiding the true finish of this original paint. We used a mini polisher paired with the OBERK x KXK punch sheet to much out 1" and 2" microfiber cutting pads for the nano, as well as our Rupes 75 pneumatic 3" polisher and the 15mm MK3 polisher for all the larger areas. After we finished, we sealed everything in with Oberk Defense Gel, treated with trim with Solution Finish to restore the deep black accents, and got everything else on the car looking as good as the paint. While most consider a paint correction a full polishing process to make it perfect, this paint correction was to keep and preserve this car for years to come. We also showcase our new "2 in 1 Wheel Cleaner and Iron Remover" in this video that is the perfect mix of iron removing chemistry and traditional wheel cleaning power.
