Hegseth on Iran war: "We will shoot to destroy"
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said this morning the U.S. will keep its blockade of Iranian ports and vessels near the Strait of Hormuz in place for “as long as it takes.” His comments come as tensions remain high, with both the U.S. and Iran seizing ships along the critical oil route in recent days, even after a ceasefire extension earlier this week.
