Deep Drop Madness! Snowy Grouper, 3 Swordfish & Mahi

This trip offshore with Capt. James Mullen turned into an absolute deep drop and swordfishing grind! The day started by loading up on live bait before heading offshore to a Snowy Grouper spot we already knew about — and it was absolutely loaded. On the very first drop, we caught 5 fish and knew right away it was going to be one of those days. While we were deep dropping, a school of mahi swam right up to the boat, so we took a break from the bottom fishing and picked away at some schoolies before heading even farther offshore. After that, we switched gears and went swordfishing, where we managed to put 3 swordfish on the deck, including one really big fish to top off an unreal day offshore in the Florida Keys. This was one of those trips where everything came together. Deep drops, mahi showing up at the boat, and nonstop swordfish action all day long.
