The incredible campus tour video made by a group of our graduating Class of 2021 students is a treasure that has reverberated through generations of alumni, and that will excite generations of future incoming students. The final term in Kampus is the most emotional one. With classes, competitions and placements almost done, students ponder upon their future and the last few weeks at IIMK, wanting to live it to the fullest. But for the Class of 2021, things were different. The entire world faced a crisis, and they lost many precious moments at Kampus. The pandemic canceled their grad trips, farewell parties, and the Convocation. And, some students could never make it back to Kampus. Goodbyes are always hard, but this year it was even more difficult. Showing gratitude made them realize how lucky they were to have had these 2 years, which makes saying goodbye so hard. Wanting to leave a legacy cherished by both alumni and incoming students, the campus tour video was made. The 2-year journey at IIM Kozhikode is a Walk to Remember for a Lifetime, and they wanted to give that feeling to everyone who’s done it and for everyone who will. No video can come close to the actual experience of walking through the spectacular lush green IIMK Kampus with breathtaking views of hill ranges and valleys. So, the team came up with a plan - IIM Kozhikode is the only campus that welcomes every new batch with rain and thunder, so they waited until the right moment to capture these spectacular natural sights, to give an as-close-to real experience Some years from now, when they watch it again, all those memories will come back rushing with nostalgia and joy.
