The Identity of the Fantastic yet Mysterious Rose is… | Rose Flower Carpet | Rose Pink Supreme

My neighbours rose growing into my garden over my fence is Rose Flower Carpet Pink Supreme. The climbing version. In Europe it is called heidetraum plus. In the U.K. it’s known as flower carpet pink climbing version. This rose is known as a ground cover rose growing 2ft high. And it appears some people have purchased the ground cover version but if left alone they say it climbs for them. So perhaps similar to Gertrude Jekyll I’m unsure if it’s not the same rose that’s just pruned differently. It’s heat and drought tolerant. Flowers continually through the summer and autumn into winter. The one in my garden has had no treatment nor care whatsoever and has still whopped everything I have grown. It is said it’s the worlds most popular rose variety. No scent but completely disease free and very very floracious. It has many accolades winning not one, but two Adr awards and was voted world rose of the year in 2020. #rosegarden #roses #flowercarpet
