How to fix a stuck SLR Battery Cover

With some luck and patience, fixing a stuck battery cover can be done rather easy and quick, without any cutting or drilling into the cover itself. In this video I show you how I got my battery cover on my Pentax ME unstuck. But this method shouldn't be brand specific and work on most cameras with a similar plate and cover design. I did try an number of products to get the threads to let go, before I resorted to removing the bottom plate. My only regret is that I didn't try this sooner.
