Has Julia returned… or has something far darker set its sights on a grieving mother? - - - - - - - - - This was my first feature film, shot back in 2014 on a shoestring budget of just £300. With a lot of determination—and the help of some amazing friends—we pulled it off. A friend of a friend’s parents went on holiday for a week and let us take over their house, turning it into our own film set. I felt like Steven Spielberg with my very own production! We even had a few eerie moments during filming. One night, as we were leaving, everyone had already stepped outside when one of my lights suddenly toppled over and exploded—no one was anywhere near it. Spooky, to say the least. The audio was a challenge back then, but thanks to modern tech and AI, I’ve managed to clean it up significantly. I’ve also given the film a fresh edit, new color grade, and an AI 4K upgrade. It’s still rough around the edges, but it’s a big improvement—and I hope you enjoy the hard work and passion that went into making it.
