Allen Bradley BootP DHCP EtherNet/IP Commissioning Tool
Real Life Example of using the BootP tool. In this example I change the IP address of a 1756-ENBT (Rev 6.0) in an Allen Bradley ControlLogix chassis. This procedure can be used for many AB devices. They usually come out of the box with DHCP enabled, and will chirp on boot up, where you can set up the Relation and continue on from there. In this example we were lucky enough to witness Allen Bradley software doing what it does best: Work on the third try!
