Mickaël Phelippeau / bi-p (FR) "De Françoise à Alice"

Over ten years ago, French choreographer Mickaël Phelippeau met these two performers in one of his workshops. Since then, they’ve often talked about the different experiences the women have had in dance: Alice has Down syndrome, Françoise is considered “able-bodied” – a severe reduction, of course, of the multifaceted abilities of both dancers. In their dance duet and in verbal dialogue they explore their diversities and commonalities with immense gentleness, but also anger. A work which sometimes leads them “to unknown and intimidating places” (Françoise) in order to let “people know who we are” (Alice). More Info & Tickets: https://www.impulstanz.com/en/perform...
