The Future of Global Governance and International Cooperation in an Increasingly Fractured World

On January 29, 2024, the eighth Palliser Lecture was delivered by Pascal Lamy, coordinator of the Jacques Delors Institutes (Paris, Berlin, Brussels), vice-chairman of the Paris Peace Forum, and former director-general of the World Trade Organization. Pascal's lecture was titled "The Future of Global Governance and International Cooperation in an Increasingly Fractured World." He spoke at the Aga Khan Centre in London, UK. The Palliser Lecture series is a collaboration between Salzburg Global Seminar – Austria, the 21st Century Trust, and the Aga Khan Foundation. This lecture series is named in honor of the Rt Hon Sir Michael Palliser GCMG (April 9, 1922 – June 19, 2012), who was the vice chairman of Salzburg Global Seminar’s Board of Directors and a founding trustee of the 21st Century Trust.
