3D printing a flame throwing exhaust to turbo rotary swap a BMW i8
In this episode we try out the new Einscan Rigil 3D scanner to build a 3D printed, self-fixturing exhaust system for a BMW i8 getting a Mazda 13B-REW swap. We'll scan the car, touch on the general design in Autodesk Fusion, how to order your own 3D printed metal parts from Craftcloud3D and then do the final assembly. With a rotary engine also functioning as a makeshift flame thrower, we'll look at how airflow detaches from the car and whether or not that will make for a crispy bumper.
