Sei still in der Gegenwart des Herrn – an der Klais-Orgel in St. Servatius Siegburg Be still in the presence of the Lord – at the Klais organ in St. Servatius Siegburg Manchmal entstehen die schönsten Momente nicht im Konzert, sondern einfach während einer Übezeit. 😊 Ich habe in St. Servatius in Siegburg an der Klais-Orgel „Sei still in der Gegenwart des Herrn“ gespielt — und dazu auch gesungen. Ein ruhiges, schlichtes und zugleich sehr intensives Lied. Keine große Show, kein lautes Tutti, sondern ein Moment zum Hinhören, Durchatmen und Stillwerden. Ich finde, an dieser besonderen Orgel und in diesem Raum bekommt das Lied eine ganz eigene Atmosphäre. English: Sometimes the most beautiful moments do not happen in a concert, but simply during practice time. 😊 I played “Be still in the presence of the Lord” at the Klais organ in St. Servatius in Siegburg — and also sang along. A quiet, simple and yet very intense hymn. No big show, no loud full organ, but a moment to listen, breathe and become still. I think this special organ and this church give the piece its very own atmosphere.
