【飛騨高山100km】関門との徹底抗戦の景色

I took part in the Hida Takayama Ultra Marathon for the first time in two years. I failed to finish in 2023, and this time I had zero confidence. Still, I aimed to finish, so I stood at the starting line again. The temperature rose on the day, creating conditions that quietly showed off the harshness of the Hida mountains. Immediately after the start, I ran steadily through the old townscape from the back of the pack, and eventually the course headed towards the pass. The gradually rising temperature and the relentless ups and downs certainly took a toll on my stamina and legs, but it made up for it by allowing me to enjoy the scenic views unique to Hida while running.
