Operation Wonderland (making of Alice in Wonderland 1951)
A few month's before the première of Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland. Singer James Melton made a short tv documentary (Operation Wonderland) about the making of Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland. He have made this documentary special for his daughter Margo. Walt Disney gives James Melton a tour behind the animation process at the Disney Studio's. Shortly after the broadcasting of Operation Wonderland in early 1951. Walt Disney received countless of leters from fans who ask him when Alice in Wonderland was finaly to see in the movie theatere's. Alice in Wonderland premiered on july 26 1951. It was not a financial success. But the artistic look of the film have get alot of good reviews.
