Serpent chief designer and former World and European Champion Michael Salven is the subject of Red RC's second series of Pro Tips. In this five part how-to, the German runs us through the preparation of his Serpent 966, this episode focusing on building the perfect shock absorber, mounting of the engine and checking the free movement of the suspension in preparation for applying the setup. The remaining videos in this series will focus on the setup and tweaking of the chassis ready for racing.
