F1 Drivers of the 2000s: Where are they now?
Formula 1 is very much a game of survival of the fittest; if you don’t perform, you won’t last long. There are few drivers afforded the privilege of retiring on their own terms, and many of them will leave against their will and take their skills elsewhere, either continuing to race in other series or moving on to something else entirely. 71 drivers raced in Formula 1 in the 2000s. As of 2023, just two of them are still on the grid, but let’s see what the remaining 69 are up to these days.
