BMW X3 M40i Attack Run at Big Willow

Support the Channel with Patreon:   / carbage   During the Motor Press Guild (MPG) Test Fest, I got to drive the new 2018 BMW X3 M40i with the twin-turbo B58B30M0 inline-six. The 3.0-liter mill puts down 355-horsepower and 369-lb/ft of torque before splitting between all four wheels, but what's more impressive is that the torque curve remains flat from 1520-RPM to 4800-RPM. A flat curve like that makes cornering more predictable as turbo lag becomes a thing of the past on this incredible SUV. Well, BMW calls it a SAV or a Sports Activity Vehicle.
