Triumph Daytona 675 Electrical Issues, Regulator/Rectifier Relocation & Replacement
Important Takeaways: 1) Consider relocating the R/R to the underside of the tail away from the engine like I showed in this video. 2) Consider buying a higher amperage R/R like the Shindengen FH020AA. For this model, which is similar to the model used on the later generation of the 675s, you'll need the different connector, but they're easy to find. 3) Consider replacing the three wires coming from the stator to the R/R with a heavier gauge wire, and possibly eliminate the connector by soldering the stator wires to the R/R wires. The three stator wires, if they're the thin OEM gauge wire, GET HOT QUICK.
