Knicks Air Jordan 3 Restoration

It’s just sad to see an Air Jordan 3 look this bad. We got our hands on a cooked pair of Knicks Air Jordan 3s, and they look as though they were deserted in a hot garage for way too long. Don’t worry, we’ll never leave you! Now that we’ve got our hands on them, let’s turn them over to Mr. Vick Almighty and let him work his magic. If anyone can bring these back, we know he can. He’s seen way too many sad looking Air Jordans to let this one fall by the wayside. If you stick with us for the duration of this video, you’ll learn how to repaint, reglue, sand, smooth, and deep clean the Knicks Air Jordan 3. It’s a lot to take in, but you just have to trust the process on this one. Vick started off this extremely laborious restoration process by cleaning the Knicks Air Jordan 3 with the RESHOEVN8R Deep Clean Signature Bundle. He did this by giving the sneaker a proper clean with Sneaker Cleaning Solution and the Three Brushes, as well as a trip through the washing machine in the Sneaker Laundry Bag with our Sneaker Laundry Detergent. This preliminary cleaning of the Knicks Air Jordan 3 proved promising, but there is still quite a bit of work left for our main man Vick. Let’s get rid of the yellowing. Vick used RESHOEVN8R Sole Revive and the famous Vick 2000 indoor UV setup to remove the oxidation and nasty yellowing from the rubber outsole as well as the backtab. Now we can prep the surface of the sneakers for paint. Vick used acetone and cotton balls to get the surface ready, and sanded down any areas with scratches and deep scuffs. Then he painstakingly painted the sneaker section by section, starting with the upper and ending with the classic Jordan 3 Jumpman on the backtab. As if Vick had anything else left to prove, he also showed off even more of his insane sneaker skills by removing the creases from the toe box with an iron and wet rag. Man does he know his stuff! When it’s all said and done, Vick has got to go down as one of the greatest sneaker restorers and customizers ever, right? We definitely think so. He took this cooked pair of Knicks Air Jordan 3s and turned them into something you’d see while sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden. He really is half-man, half-amazing.
