Official Twitter account   / realtraum   Official Instagram account   / real_traum   Kenichiro Takashima (Tenor) After graduating from the Vocal Music Department of Tokyo University of the Arts, he studied in Vienna as a scholarship recipient of the university's overseas study support program. While studying at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, he made his debut at the 2018 Lehár Festival, and from that season onward, he performed leading roles in operettas such as the title role of Baron Balincay (Gypsy Baron) and Countess Maritza Tassilo in theaters throughout Germany. In 2022, he made his debut at the Mörbisch Lake Festival, one of Europe's largest open-air music festivals, and began his full-fledged career in Japan. He successfully held his first recital at Tokyo Opera City, and in 2023, he made his long-awaited Japanese stage debut as the lead role of Sid Sorokin in the musical "The Pajama Game," making him one of the most talked-about classical male vocalists today. He received the Ataka Prize while still a student. He completed his master's degree in solo performance at the same university's graduate school. He also completed the 61st Master Class at the Nikikai Opera Training Institute. In opera, he has received critical acclaim for his roles as the Count in "The Marriage of Figaro," Papageno in "The Magic Flute," Marcello in "La Bohème," and Escamillo in "Carmen." He also has a wide repertoire of sacred music, and has performed as a soloist in works such as the 63rd "Geidai Messiah," Verdi's "Requiem," Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony," and Haydn's "The Creation." He has performed with conductors such as Tadaaki Otaka, Ken Takaseki, Yoko Matsuo, and Hidemi Suzuki, and with orchestras such as the Geidai Philharmonic Orchestra and the Aichi Chamber Orchestra. In 2021, he made his Nikikai debut as Elviro in the Nikikai New Wave Opera Theatre's production of "Serse." In April 2023, he is scheduled to appear as the bishop in the Japanese premiere of the Nikikai Opera Foundation's production of "Peace Day." He is an associate member of the Nikikai Opera Foundation. On December 6, 2020 (Sunday), he appeared as part of the vocal ensemble in "ALCHEMIST RENATUS ~Homunculus~," a musical reading play at the Nippon Budokan. Received the Doseikai Award and the Acanthus Award upon graduation. Completed graduate studies in Vocal Music at the same university's Graduate School of Music. Made his musical debut in 2016 in "Apple Tree" (directed by Yu Shirota). Afterwards, he appeared in musicals such as "Les Misérables," "Sunset Boulevard," "The Illusionist," "INTO THE WOODS," "Your Lie in April," and "Jersey Boys." He has also appeared on shows such as "Summer Station Musical Collection" (EX), "Japanese Masterpiece Album" (BS-TBS), "MUSIC FAIR" (CX), and "FNS Music Festival" (CX). He is also actively involved as a singer, performing hotel dinner shows, recording, and holding solo concerts annually. Graduated from the Vocal Music Department of the Tokyo University of the Arts. Received the Doseikai Award upon graduation. Completed the 22nd term of the New National Theatre Opera Training Institute. He was the first tenor to win first place in the university division of the 71st All Japan Student Music Competition National Finals. He also received the Kanpo Encouragement Award and the Japan Broadcasting Corporation Award. He has performed the national anthem at Koshien Stadium, Tokyo Dome, and other venues. He has appeared in operas such as "Gianni Schicchi" (as Rinuccio) and "Don Giovanni" (as Don Ottavio). A promising new generation classical crossover singer who transcends various genres.
