Winter Reads: Book Recommendations for the Cold Season

Winter is the perfect time to cozy up with a good book. Here are some of my favorite books for the winter season. (As a sidenote when talking about authors, especially modern authors, I do not necessarily support the political opinions of authors I might recommend. I try not to look too closely at what a writer says because I find I am often disappointed. However, I do believe that I can appreciate a book without agreeing with the stance an author might take on issues that I might not see eye to eye on.)
