Looking Back at Lingo Lounge Season 1 | The Journey So Far

🎙️ What started as an idea has grown into something truly special. This special episode celebrates the conclusion of Season 1 of Lingo Lounge, a youth-led multicultural initiative by CMS 91.1 FM that has brought together young people from across Canberra to share their languages, cultures and stories. Over the past season, we've had the privilege of exploring 20 languages and cultures, including: 🇵🇹 Portuguese 🇮🇳 Hindi 🇮🇳 Tamil 🇱🇰 Sinhalese 🌏 Pidgin 🇵🇬 Tok Pisin 🇼🇸 Samoan 🇿🇦 Afrikaans 🇵🇰 Urdu 🇦🇫 Dari 🇹🇿 Swahili 🇨🇳 Chinese 🇹🇷 Turkish 🇵🇭 Tagalog 🇻🇳 Vietnamese 🇿🇼 Shona 🇮🇳 Punjabi 🇳🇵 Nepali 🇰🇷 Korean 🇮🇩 Bahasa Indonesia Every episode has reminded us that every language tells a story, every culture offers a new perspective, and every young person deserves a platform to be heard.
