Documentário "LEMA 30 Anos"

The Extension Project "Memories of Mathematics at UFBA" is pleased to make public, and accessible to all, the documentary commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Laboratory for Teaching Mathematics and Statistics (LEMA) at UFBA: "LEMA 30 Years". The documentary was launched on Tuesday, May 12th, in the UFBA Cinema Room, with a screening for invited guests only, and a second session on Thursday, May 14th, in the IME Auditorium, open to the public. LEMA-UFBA is an asset to the entire IME community and a symbol of the historical effort of many professors at our Institute to implement teaching that overcomes the challenges of learning Mathematics and Statistics, so common for a large number of students, as we know. For three decades, it has collaborated in the training of teachers and graduates, integrating teaching, research, and extension. The documentary is a celebration of this journey, marked by great dedication, courage, and a will to make things happen! We thank everyone who contributed to making this project a reality!!
